Coconino County Highway
Map

The Coconino County Highway Map is presented below.
This image was provided by Coconino County for your convenience.
The image above
shows a Corvette-owners road tour on the highway between Flagstaff
and Sedona (89A). It is a beautiful drive that includes a decent into upper Oak
Creek Canyon. (Photo below)
The Coconino County Highway Map image file is larger than
most other files on this site, so for those with slow connections it will take
several seconds to load. The map image is rendered in a large size to make it
more useful to you... even though it distorts the page layout. This text gives
you something to read while the map is loading.
While the image is loading, let me tell you a little
about some of the area's natural wonders...
The Grand Canyon lies to the north of Flagstaff
and Williams... beyond the San Francisco Peaks as you view the region from South
of Flagstaff.
Sedona is located to the south of Flagstaff,
right along the county line. Another famous and photogenic area, Monument Valley is to the northeast,
along the Utah border.

OK, the map should have loaded by now!

The Coconino County highway map shows state and federal highways. Large portions
of the county are taken up by Indian reservations, national forests, and
national parks. These areas require only a few few primary; connecting,
highways. Local roads provide limited access to these areas. These secondary and
forest roads are not shown here. The best way to find images showing these roads
is to pick up printed maps of the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests.
The Coconino County highway map can lead you to many natural wonders and
beautiful scenes.
A Google search using a keyword phrase such as coconino county emergency
