South of Flagstaff Events Calendar

This South of Flagstaff Events Calendar lists many of the events scheduled at several South of Flagstaff locations.

Most events shown on this calendar take place at the Ft. Tuthill County Park and Fairgrounds. Ft. Tuthill is easy to get to and offers a variety of facilities.

To quote the Coconino County Parks Department...

"Fort Tuthill County Park is located just south of Flagstaff off Interstate 17 (Exit 337). It's the home of the annual Coconino County Fair (Labor Day weekend) and Coconino County Horse Races (4th of July weekend).

The rest of the summer (May through September), Fort Tuthill is bustling with a variety of special events, camping, and picnicking. Developed facilities at Ft. Tuthill County Park include:

  • Race Track, Grandstand, and Barns for horse racing, rodeos, and horse shows.

  • Sheriff's Posse Arena for roping and other equestrian contests.

  • County Fairgrounds for fairs and craft shows.

  • Military History Museum

  • Picnic ramadas, campgrounds, and trails.

Development of the Pine Mountain Amphitheater has added another great venue to the facilities at Ft. Tuthill.
