Mountainaire real estate is quite diverse.

Mountainaire is about seven miles south of Flagstaff, east of I-17. It shares a freeway exit (333) with Kachina Village.

Mountainaire sits about a mile off the freeway and extends east, well into the surrounding national forest.

Mountainaire real estate has been developed for the most part. The sub-division itself is a maturing development. Some of the adjacent land is protected national forest land and not available for development.

Other developments are filling in the available private land around Mountainaire. Highland Meadows is a custom home community along both sides of the Old Munds Highway, north of Mountainaire.

Parts of Highland Meadows can be seen from I-17 just north of the Mountainaire - Kachina Village exit.
